Doctors Without Borders saves lives where the needs are greatest. In over 70 countries we provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Fundraising is an important activity for us, since we do not seek government funding and financial support from private individuals is crucial. 

“Direct Dialogue (DD) Specialized Campaigns & Events” is a group of innovative fundraising campaigns, aiming to recruit new “Field Partners / regular donors/ corporate leads” in selected places to raise awareness of our work and our Field Partner program.

The project coordinator's mission is to organize and manage the activities according to the set plan and objectives for the department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Together with Direct Dialogue management and one-to-one team, co-own strategy and create plans for overall Specialized campaigns & events activities.
• Development of Specialized Campaigns & events contents and concepts in line with the one-to-one strategy & communication lines.
• Plan and participate in Specialized campaigns & event activities, including weekend work and overnight traveling.
• Line manager responsibility: Recruitment/staffing, HR administration, training, evaluation, and development.
• Responsible for cost control by the project budget.
• Liaison with Specialized campaigns & events contacts.
• Evaluating the results of the activities.
• Responsibility for the maintenance of all Specialized Campaigns & Event materials.
• Ensure the maintenance of vehicles, including insurance and legalities.
• Identify locations and ensure all logistics are in place (electricity, access, …).
• Safety and security management, including risk analysis, for the Direct Dialogue activities.
• Other activities with the department, depending on personal aptitude and competence.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher education and experience in sales and marketing.
• Experience in fundraising, sales, or other relevant occupational fields.
• Experience in managing people and administrative work.
• Basic MS Office experience.
• Experience from corporate is an advantage.
• Current/Previous Experience with Doctors Without Borders is an advantage.
• Behavioural Competencies: Capacity to lead by example, structured, organized, independent, proactive, flexible, solution-oriented, hardworking, motivating, committed, diplomatic, good with conflict management, and, result-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English (B2 level or higher).

• Salary according to Doctors Without Borders salary policy, salary scale 16 - 652,678 - 717,486 NOK per year, depending on work experience.
• Desired start date: 1st March 2025.

• Contract type: Permanent, 100%.
