Job Details:
We are seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Oslo. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and projects in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ad-hoc reports, and records.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Calculate and prepare VAT and other tax returns in collaboration with an external accounting firm.
Manage the administration budget for local entities.
Oversee bank transactions, reporting, and reconciliations.
Manage accounts receivable and payable in collaboration with Shared Services.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
For support functions and shared services, develop and monitor budgets and estimates, analyze monthly results, and establish performance indicators.
Monitor and follow up on all administrative work and cash flow related to research grants.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment
Strong business acumen and financial understanding
Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
