Duties and responsibilities

• Strategic development and daily management of engineering department.
• Strategic development of engineering processes to gain competitive edge and differentiator. Strive to continuously improve processes to achieve lean and flexible PEM's with focus on multidiscipline methods, processes, procedures, instructions, and check lists.
• Interface with relevant departments to ensure continued multidiscipline improvements.
• Lead Engineering management group with focus on optimum resource management, long term resource forecast and optimizing PEM engineering processes.
• Involve and mentor Discipline Authorities (DA's) to ensure continuous improvements and development of best practice across discipline engineering. Focus on multidiscipline methods and optimal utilization of automated and digital tools.
• Develop and maintain Opex & Capex budgets for Area including improvement work and potential idle time.
• Supporting departments heads and DA's in recruiting personnel with necessary competence with respect to existing and future projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Solid experience and competence within engineering and multidiscipline management.
• Engineering Manager experience from project preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Project Execution Models.
• Strong knowledge of relevant project tools.
