POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated, professional and quality-concious Front Office Manager with a great passion for hospitality. As Front Office Manager you will lead our front office team and ensure that every guest experiences exceptional service and enjoys a seamless journey from check-in to check-out. This role combines operational excellence with strategic leadership. You will be working closely with the Hotel Manager and different departments to lead and oversee the daily operations of the front desk at Storfjord Hotel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the daily operations of the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests
• Monitor and optimize workflows, routines, and guest satisfaction
• Address guest inquiries and resolve challenges with empathy and precision
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and harmonious guest experience
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel’s guest service concepts

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Experience as a Front Office Manager, Assistant Manager, or a similar leadership role, ideally in high-end or boutique hotels
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. A hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Passion: A strong passion for hospitality and service excellence
• Solution focused: A detail-oriented, solution-focused and proactive approach
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills. Scandinavian and English proficiency are required
• Proficiency: Knowledge in hotel management systems (e.g., Mews, Event Temple or similar).
