As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for a: Material Discipline Lead in Stavanger who can help us succeed.
Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets from a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we are exploring opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Ensure discipline input to project reporting in accordance with project routines
- Report to Engineering Manager all matters of importance
- Collect experience data and prepare discipline experience report, as required to provide discipline input to project experience report, as required
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Master, bachelor's degree or technical vocational school
- Alternative experience (one of the following) according to PEM:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Discipline Engineer.
- Minimum 1 year experience as Discipline Task Responsible.
- Communication and multi discipline co-operation Material selection and surface treatment input to technical requisitions and functional specifications
- Available for work in Norway
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
