Jottacloud is a successful Norwegian cloud service for secure storage, synchronization, and sharing of photos and data. We offer unlimited storage, Norwegian privacy, and modern apps for mobile and desktop. Our team is a social and techy group of people with office in Oslo city center.

We are now seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our journey. In this role, you’ll work as part of our frontend team, contributing to the development of modern and intuitive web applications. You will collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to implement features, optimize performance, and help maintain a relevant and modern web stack.

We strive to maintain a relevant and modern web stack which, among many things, currently means React, TypeScript, Tailwind, MobX, Vite, Playwright, Storybook, Lingui and TanStack query with gRPC connect bindings. Multiple webapps are built from our frontend monorepo in GitLab, connects directly to the same gRPC APIs as our other clients and usually runs as SPAs on nearly static hosts in Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in modern frontend development and enjoys working in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will have the opportunity to work with exciting technologies and contribute directly to a product that has many dedicated users.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong expertise in technologies such as React, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Relevant education (Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or a related field).
• Interest and ability to stay up-to-date on latest relevant technology.
• Exceptional ability to cooperate with others, regardless of position, team, background and perspectives.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset, to be aligned with our culture.
