Procurement - Senior Purchaser (BH-290031)

Contract period: 01.02.2025 - 31.12.2026

Location: Bergen

Main Tasks:

• Create procurement strategies
• Issue inquiry documents for larger equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
• Commercial evaluation of quotations
• Issue orders and contracts of complex procurement packages
• Follow-up suppliers to secure delivery within the right timeframe, cost, and quality
• Professional variation handling
• Handling of risks, deviations and invoices
• Secure that all work is executed in accordance with Company’s guidelines, work instructions and procedures
• Be the single point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers
• It is considered a natural part of the job to constantly work on improvements, to reduce internal and external risks, costs and to improve delivery quality and cooperation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree. Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Economy, Engineering and similar
• Solid knowledge within procurement is a requirement
• Right attitude and high commitment may compensate for lack of formal education / relevant work experience
• A Commercial mindset & Contract understanding
• Good oral and written communication skills, both in Norwegian and English
• Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills
• Structured and systematic approach
• Microsoft Office and SAP ERP experience is a plus
