HR System Specialist

Are you passionate about HR technology and looking to make an impact? At Kongsberg Maritime, our Workday Development and Support team is essential to our HR operations. We're seeking an HR System Specialist to manage our Workday setup, focusing on maintenance, development, and troubleshooting.

We expect you to consistently deliver top-notch results on time. You'll analyze tasks with a holistic view, considering their impact on the entire process. Your curiosity about processes beyond Workday will drive improvements and innovation. You'll proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring seamless operations and keeping your leader informed of any potential issues.

Note that candidates will be evaluated continuously.

What will you work with?

• Actively participate in Workday Community, other training and information sessions.
• Regularly critically evaluate, quality assure and improve our work processes.
• Create and maintain process documentation, help text and user guides.
• Become the team lead specialist in at least one Workday module.
• Provide Workday support to HR through various channels. Including, inform and train new members of HR where relevant
• Take responsibility for raising concerns about the system or improvement suggestions. This includes yearly risks review of our processes.
• Participate in Workday development projects. and lead the Workday part of any development work as part of wider projects led by process owners.

You have excellent communication skills and thrive in a team environment. Your "can do" attitude helps you take ownership and show initiative. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities feels natural to you, along with a risk-conscious mindset. Being thorough and systematic, with a knack for conditional logic, is what describes you. Your approach focuses on those that use the system, and can translate what they need into requirements, understanding cause and effect of those alternatives. You can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment with us.

What type of background might you have?

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in an HR or technology field. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
• At least 12 months experience in HR, using Workday as an HR system preferred. Even better if Workday Pro or Workday accredited.
