Senior Systems Engineer

Duties and responsibilities
- System design and control of related technical solutions
- Develop and implement system-level designs
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with delivery specifications and industry standards
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to define system requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test procedures
- Develop and execute system-level test plans to verify performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyze test results and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in lift and handling solutions
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance system development and lifecycle management
Qualifications
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field
- Equivalent practical experience in a similar role is also acceptable
- Strong system understanding in the interface between electrical drive systems, automation, hydraulics and mechanical construction
- Preferably experience with modern electrical drive systems, energy storage systems and maritime lift and handling system
