We are looking for a proactive and strategic Sustainability Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our sustainability reporting processes. The Sustainability Lead will report to our Senior Manager Sustainability & Communications, and be part of the company's Strategic Development function. We firmly believe that sustainability and strategy go hand in hand, and this role will be responsible for driving initiatives to ensure compliance with evolving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards and regulatory requirements, while enhancing sustainability efforts across the organisation that support the corporate strategy. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Sustainability Reporting Management: Lead the end-to-end process and preparation and quality assurance of sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD and ESRS 
• Reporting Practices: Establish and streamline sustainability reporting practices, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. 
• DMA Revalidation: Oversee the annual revalidation of the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), ensuring alignment with updated guidelines, standards and regulations. 
• Taxonomy Reporting: Collaborate with Finance and other teams on taxonomy-based reporting, ensuring accurate data classification and compliance with relevant frameworks. 
• Sustainability Governance: Develop and implement formal sustainability governance documents and frameworks, ensuring alignment with both internal strategies and external regulations. 
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed on emerging sustainability regulations and ensure ongoing compliance. Liaise with internal teams and third-party partners to track and implement necessary changes. Monitor industry trends and ESG reporting developments to keep sustainability reporting practices at the forefront. 
• Data Verification: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all sustainability-related data submitted by various functions, conducting thorough verification for compliance and reporting integrity. 
• Upskilling and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Collaboration: Support continuous learning by upskilling internal stakeholders and engaging with SMEs to improve reporting practices and sustainability initiatives. 

Qualifications  

• Proven practical experience with CSRD/ESRD sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks, and regulatory compliance. 
• Strong understanding of sustainability trends, reporting standards, and taxonomy-based frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD). 
• Familiarity with ESG platforms and digital tools for reporting and data management.
