In Kron by Storebrand we are on a mission to make investments available to everyone. Kron is Norway’s most liked investment app, and more than 100,000 customers visit the app almost daily. We engage them by bridging the gap between what happens in the financial markets and how it affects the money they have invested. We call it great investments for everyone, and we are now looking for a senior react native developer to join us on the journey.
About you
Great UX and Design: You love creating fantastic user experiences with an eye for great design: This means you have a strong passion for crafting user interfaces that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. You understand the importance of user-centered design and strive to create experiences that are intuitive and enjoyable for users.
Effective Collaboration: You collaborate effectively with developers, designers, economists, and other stakeholders to find pragmatic solutions to complex problems: You are skilled at working in multidisciplinary teams, bringing together different perspectives and expertise to tackle challenging issues. You can communicate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone’s input is considered to develop practical and effective solutions.
Mobile Development Focus: You’re passionate about mobile development, and have a mobile/app-first approach: You prioritize the development of mobile applications, recognizing the growing importance of mobile devices in users’ lives. You focus on creating seamless and optimized experiences for mobile users, ensuring that your apps perform well on smartphones and tablets.
Autonomy: You value autonomy and are comfortable managing your own work: You are self-driven and capable of managing your tasks independently. You don’t need constant supervision and can set your own goals and deadlines, ensuring that your work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Ownership and Initiative: You take responsibility without being asked and own ideas from conception to execution: You are proactive and take initiative in your work. When you have an idea, you take full ownership of it, from the initial concept through to its implementation and final delivery. You are accountable for your projects and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
Mentorship: You enjoy mentoring others and sharing your experiences: You find satisfaction in helping others grow and develop their skills. You are willing to share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues, providing guidance and support to help them succeed.

We are conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Lysaker train station. At our office you will find ample bicycle parking, a fantastic cafeteria, services like a chiropractor/physiotherapist and a wide range of training opportunities through well-equipped training rooms and our own gymnasium. Application:
You apply by sending your CV and answer some questions about why you want to work at Kron.
First interview:
You are invited in for a ~45-minute interview where we talk about your motivation, you can ask any questions you might have, and we uncover whether it is a good match.
Technical assessment:
To reduce biases and have objective criteria when assessing candidates, we ask that you do one of the following: 1) Share a code project you’ve written previously with us or 2) complete a take-home exercise we provide (which takes up to 3 hours to complete).
Technical interview:
Everyone who completes the technical assessment is invited in for a technical interview. Here, we discuss your project and go more in-depth into your technical background. The interview lasts for about 90 minutes.
Final interview: In the final interview you will typically meet the team lead, your Engineering Manager and someone from our HR department. The interview typically lasts for 60 minutes.
Offer:
Your Engineering manager will reach out with an offer, and we will discuss practicalities around the start date etc.
