Are you our new Senior Survey Technical Advisor? (Located in Belgium, the Netherlands or UK)
Maritime Robotics is looking for a Senior Survey Technical Advisor to strengthen our sales and marketing team!
You will play a vital role in sales and marketing of our solutions and technology and in the development of how Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) can be the preferred solution for collection of marine data to support various projects, including underwater topography mapping, seabed analysis, environmental assessments, and navigation safety.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology in the field of marine robotics, including sensor integration and solutions within autonomy. You will also be able to contribute to autonomy making its breakthrough as a pioneering technology within several market areas with a company that endeavors to give employees the framework they need to be successful.
This position involves visiting customers, participating in exhibitions and doing demos to promote the technology and solutions from Maritime Robotics.
We are searching for a person who is outgoing and with great networking skills. You like to use your experience to explore how new technology can be combined with operational experience to find solutions which help our customers.
The applicant should be experienced with the use of different kinds of geophysical remote sensing equipment such as multibeam, single beam, side scan sonar etc. and have experience in the logistics, operation, collection, and delivery of various geophysical data types as well as overall survey requirements.
You should have good communication and problem-solving skills, as well analytical skills and a strong motivational work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine Science, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Hydrographic Surveyor or Marine Surveyor in the field of marine surveying (minimum of 5 years preferred).
- Experienced in the use of hydrographic surveying equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of marine survey techniques and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-driven and motivated
