In this role, your main focus is to ensure that we have a seamless operation to successfully meet our trade and network requirements. Where will you be channelling your efforts and expertise?
- Establish and follow up working programs for our vessels considering all commercial requirements and schedule parameters, while ensuring adequate cost control and awareness.
- Contribute actively to meet targets for operational savings, including optimizing vessel schedules and initiating port rationalisation.
- Plan, manage and execute contingency plans to meet up to trade/system requirements including deviation analysis
- Develop a good working relationship with terminal operators and port agents
- Coordinate with bunker purchasers and vessels for optimal bunker planning and purchasing
- Cross trade and regional synergies using transshipment and feeder network
- Provide scheduling solutions to Sales teams and advise on pricing
But that's not all - you'll also be involved in developing transhipment hubs to deliver better port2port product, as well as manage third party feeder relations to maintain best network and terms possible.
To succeed in this role, you are solution oriented and have can-do attitude. You have the ability to deliver quality under pressure and you are not afraid to take decisions on your own, while still being a team player. You have excellent communications skills and enjoy working with a vast variety of people in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications
- Degree in Business/Maritime/Logistics studies and/or experience within the field of vessel operations is preferrable.
- Experience in implementation of planning tool/ knowledge in IMOS or other planning system is a plus
- Proactive mindset and ability to be one step ahead
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Creative and solution oriented
- Strong collaboration skills
- Team player
