At Fieldmind, we’re committed to helping farmers make informed decisions that balance financial, social, and environmental sustainability. This is a problem where AI and LLMs are uniquely suited to provide exactly the information and guidance the farmer needs. We’re building an AI tool translating state-of-the-art agricultural research into practical advice tailored to farmers' unique soil, climate, and environmental conditions, aiming to build resilience in the face of climate change. Fieldmind is an early stage startup working out of Startup Lab in Oslo, Norway. We’re already in dialogue with potential customers to be part of the product development, making sure we make the right product from the start.

We’re now looking for a CTO / Technical Lead who shares our passion for sustainability, technology, and purposeful innovation—someone ready to lead the development of tools that genuinely support farmers in their daily work. 

Who are you:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a hands-on developer, working across full-stack systems or crafting front-end features for products that users truly value. Experience with AI technologies in actual projects is a plus.
• You bring 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, with accountability for delivering results.
• You are well-versed in the agile development process and excel at aligning user requirements with effective technical solutions.
• You have a practical mindset, viewing technology as a means to create meaningful value rather than an end in itself.
• You possess strategic thinking skills, balancing immediate technical priorities with a clear long-term vision.
• Perhaps you’ve been part of a startup growth journey, learning from its challenges and now eager to build something new from the ground up.
• You speak and write English fluently. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
