The Opportunity: Are you passionate about making a difference in the world of energy storage? Join us as a Test & Application Engineer — a vital role in our R&D team. You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that ensures the quality and functionality of Pixii products through both automated and investigational testing. You’ll participate in prototyping and testing of new applications, as well as setting up test systems, test SW/HW changes on product and system level.

As a Test & Application Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

• Configure and assemble test systems according to specifications.
• Test SW/HW changes on product and system level.
• Test new battery types/ technology.
• Write and execute automated test sequences and test plans.
• Prototyping and testing of new functionalities and applications.
• Report issues and follow them through the entire development cycle.
• Participate in and lead training sessions for colleagues and external parties.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team and company culture.
• Keep up to date on cutting edge technologies.

What You Bring to the Role:

• Education: You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and also completed vocational school as an Electrician.
• Experience: Relevant work experience with electrical installations, preferably in a test development/ product testing environment. You also have strong knowledge and user experience in Python, Git, Github/ Gitlab or similar platforms. Hands-on technical expertise is a must; experience with BESS is a significant advantage.
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
