Maintenance Planner | Golar LNG
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our onshore operations team and play an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient planning of maintenance activities to support our FLNG operations. The position will be part of the Asset Team within FLNG Operations. The position is based in Oslo, Norway, but requires a willingness to travel since our sites and FLNG’s are located around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will:
- Plan and Schedule: Manage and schedule all activities, e.g. preventive maintenance (PM) work, vendor visits, logistics operations, etc. on a tactical level, being the owner of 6 week and 12-week plans.
- Coordinate Inputs: Support offshore organization for coordination and execution of 14-day plans. Assist in review and organizing all required inputs for major PM or corrective tasks.
- Turnaround Preparation: Plan and prepare for maintenance turnarounds (TAR).
- Work Pack Management: Act as project manager for creating work packs for special projects and modifications, ensuring input from relevant departments.
- Safety and Compliance: Monitor completion of safety-critical jobs and ensure class-related work scopes are well-planned and followed up.
- Deferred Work Management: Track and manage deferred maintenance activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze completed PM work, updating data for accuracy and improving PM efficiency.
- Collaboration: Attend and facilitate planning meetings with the asset management team.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years’ experience in planned maintenance systems, preferably in the offshore oil and gas industry. Experience with operating assets is a advantage.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems are preferred.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with multinational teams and source necessary information for work packs, including materials, manpower, isolations, and scaffolding requirements.
- Field Knowledge: Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment. Offshore Field experience is a strong advantage.
- Documentation Expertise: Good understanding of documenting various work scopes and maintenance processes.
