Our office at Ågotnes is looking for a Quality Specialist.

What will you be doing? 

• Define quality plans required for engineering, manufacturing, operations, functions, customers and suppliers
• Develop procedures, work instructions and forms necessary to comply with the Quality Management System
• Document cost-effective quality and process improvements
• Provide daily technical support as needed with suppliers
• Participate in job risk and failure root cause analysis and related corrective actions
• Lead internal and external audits, inspections and quality records
• Assist with training team members on new procedures

We think you should have: 

• College or Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in relevant quality positions (Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Audit) preferably from the oil and gas industry is advantageous
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and API Spec Q2 (nice to have)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Energetic and proactive attitude with a structured working style
• Customer-focused and self-driven personality with the ability to make decisions independently
• High work capacity, drive, and engagement for quality with a strong people focus
