Senior IT System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT System Administrator to join our dynamic and agile team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Microsoft 365 setup and join our team to maintain our hybrid server infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all our IT systems.

This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, maintain M365 and server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network components in a hybrid setup.

• Utilize Graph API to enhance and extend M365 functionalities and develop and maintain scripts for automation of administrative tasks.

• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of IT systems through effective monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to support and enhance overall IT infrastructure, support and services.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Microsoft 365 and related technologies.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system administration, with a focus on server and network management.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft products including Azure, Entra ID, SQL, Hyper V and Active Directory.

• Proficiency in scripting for automation and administration tasks and for extending M365 capabilities.

• Solid understanding of server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, network protocols, topology and security.
