What You’ll Gain

• On-the-job training with experienced Technical Superintendents.
• Work on board a variety of Gearbulk vessels worldwide.
• Training in Gearbulk’s maintenance systems and safety procedures.
• Practical experience with dry-docking and hull maintenance.
• Collaboration with office departments to understand fleet management.
• Vessel inspections with Technical and/or HSEQ Superintendents.
• Global exposure through cooperation with Gearbulk’s branch offices worldwide.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a skilled marine professional with a strong theoretical and practical foundation, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds, including machine officers and nautical engineers. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, ready to embrace new responsibilities, and brings some relevant prior experience to the role.

Location and Reporting

This role is based in Bergen, Norway and reports to the Fleet Manager.
