Software Engineers - Recurring

We are looking for junior and senior software engineers for the Recurring Payments team. In this team we build solutions which makes it very very easy for users to sign up and pay for subscriptions such as fitness, streaming services, gaming, donations, newspapers, etc

You will be working in a cross functional team of designers, app developers and backend developers. Our team owns our design, code in production, measures performance, and addresses issues proactively. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and actively contribute to improving our current tooling, standards, and processes.

What will you be doing?
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining backend solutions mainly using Kotlin, CosmosDB running on containers in Azure.
• Build applications that scale and can handle millions of transactions without a sweat
• Be data driven and identify gaps in the existing solution and build them.
• Utilising tools like Grafana and Splunk to support our DevOps practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and other teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Taking ownership of code in production, monitoring and improving performance.
• Having fun and develop as a Software Engineer in an informal team.

• You have an academic background in tech, engineering or a related field.
• For the senior position, some years of experience with our tech stack or equivalent is a big positive.
• You voice your thoughts, have a proactive and a positive approach, are curious and eager to learn.
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
• You have a passion for building secure, high-quality scalable software and thrive in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
• You like to work on-site in our office in Bjørvika, Oslo
