We are seeking for a skilled and dedicated Accountant to strengthen our growing presence & business in Northern Europe. Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including handling incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian GAAP, VAT, and Tax requirements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and support monthly and annual closings.
• Execute and maintain internal controls for designated areas. · Participate in controlling activities, such as budget tracking and performance analysis.
• Produce and review internal reporting, providing actionable financial insights and support to management for effective decision-making and oversight.
• Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Audit.
• ·Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with SOX/internal control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Norwegian GAAP, VAT, and Tax regulations (required).
• Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is an advantage.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English is required; proficiency in German is beneficial.
