We aim to increase our presence in the Nordic region, where we currently offer health and travel insurance through collaborating banks, insurance companies, and brokers. We insure approximately 500,000 people, and premium income in 2024 is expected to be around 2 billion NOK.
We’re seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our newly formed Operations Strategy & Development team and deliver impactful projects that make a real difference.

What will our Business Analyst do?
You will be a vital resource in projects across Operations, actively contributing to the organization’s transition as it aligns with new structures, products, and markets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a central part in shaping the future of Operations through analysis, production, and implementation of initiatives that drive operational excellence.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve tasks like:
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the company's goals.
- Assist in monitoring the performance of the Claims and Policy Administration Departments by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and generating regular reports.
- Work closely with both departments to establish and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Together with your team, support the design of future solutions and processes by assisting with analysis, identifying needs, and contributing to development efforts as required. This includes helping to define business requirements and assess new software solutions on behalf of Operations.
- Implementing policies/guiding principles/governance in Operations.
- Provide expertise in process optimization techniques, facilitate workshops or training sessions, and support the implementation of new workflows or technologies.
- Develop, communicate, and follow up on strategic insights by analyzing claims trends, policy performance metrics, customer feedback, and market insights, ensuring Operations has the data needed for informed decision-making.
Who are we looking for?
We think you thrive on building connections, optimizing processes, and bridging gaps effortlessly. You're a natural at rolling up your sleeves and tackling tasks head-on with confidence. Ideally, you possess a mix of the following qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect details to broader strategic goals.
- Relevant higher education in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in business process improvement, data analysis, and project delivery.
- Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen is a benefit; relevant certifications are a bonus.
- Having consulting experience is an advantage, but it’s not a requirement.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization and process modeling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams and levels.
- You are fluent in Norwegian or Danish, and English.
- Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is a plus, though not required.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset suited to a dynamic and evolving organizational environment.
- Hands-on experience in roles like project management, data analysis, or business operations is highly valued.
