Recycling is a high-growth area for the future, fitting perfectly with the megatrend towards a circular, more sustainable, and low-carbon economy. In Hydro, recycling is a strategic growth pillar with ambitious targets for the use of "end of life scrap" in our production of low-carbon aluminium products. The business unit Recycling operates thirteen recycling casthouses and scrap sorting plants in North America and Europe. We support Hydro's Recycling sites to achieve their goals within HSE, quality and productivity and execute on Hydro's Recycling growth strategy, in Europe and U.S.
We are now looking for an IT/OT Engineer and Project Manager to join our team on our growth journey. The purpose of this position is to serve our Recycling (REC) sites in efficient and cost-effective ways, including involvement in strategic projects and business requests around the globe by managing IT-OT related tasks and projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Project management for selected IT/OT projects identified by REC
- Be a vital part of execution of Digital Strategy work within Recycling
- Follow up IT and OT requirements at our Recycling plants including audits and compliance checks
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the timely and smooth execution of projects
- Support plants in EU and North America staying compliant to internal and external IT and OT requirements
- Assist plants in problem solving and change requests within IT and OT
- Procurement and installation of hardware equipment, both IT and OT
- Build an understanding of basic production processes and work closely with Process and Support team centrally
- Conduct assessments to assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, as well as ensuring technical feasibility
- Manage the relationship with stakeholders and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Enforce/ improve project methodology guidelines
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment
Required qualifications and skills
- Minimum bachelor's degree within Information Technology/Computer Science or similar fields
- 5+ years of relevant working experience with IT Infrastructure and related projects
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies
- Experience with IT/OT setup, tasks, and support
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus

Additional information
The preferred location for the position is in Oslo but other locations close to our Recycling plants may be considered. Travelling will be required.
