NBIM is looking for an Analyst in the Valuations team!

As the successful applicant you will be part of a team responsible for the daily valuation of fixed income and equity asset classes as well as overall net asset value for the fund. You will work closely with internal teams to implement and maintain robust operational processes supporting the management of the portfolio.

The position is in Oslo and will report to the Head of Valuation. Some travel should be expected.

What you will do

This is a collaborative environment conducive to working on some of the following tasks:

• Work hands on with the overall market value of the fund and ongoing performance and attribution
• Oversee quality assurance processes for Fixed Income Analytics data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data inputs and outputs
• Manage and maintain Fixed Income Performance Attribution models, including model validation, calibration, and ongoing enhancement to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and models using the latest available technology including cloud-based services
• Champion and drive forward the development of the team’s function with a focus on automation

What you need

• Master's degree with strong academic records
• 2 – 5 years’ experience from asset management is desirable but not a requirement. Newly graduated candidates with a strong academic record are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with a pure technical background will be considered given a demonstrated motivation for working with financial instruments and valuation
• Strong programming and IT development skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies
