Horizon56 is seeking a dynamic and skilled Training Manager to join our Operations team. This critical role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and play a pivotal part in ensuring our clients and internal staff receive top-tier training and support.
The Training Manager will be responsible for staying up-to-date with our evolving suite of products, planning and executing efficient training programs, and ensuring successful knowledge transfer to both clients and Horizon56 support teams. This role requires travel to various global locations to deliver in-person training sessions and oversee large-scale training events.
- Client Training:
- Develop and deliver effective training programs for new and existing clients to ensure they are well-versed in utilizing Horizon56 products.
- Conduct both virtual and on-site training sessions globally, ensuring a high standard of knowledge transfer and client satisfaction.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute training for large audiences, tailored to diverse client needs and product updates.
- Client Engagement and Feedback:
- Engage directly with clients to understand their unique training requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Establish mechanisms to collect and analyze user feedback to enhance training programs and improve user adoption.
- Internal Staff Development:
- Ensure Horizon56 support staff and coaches are thoroughly trained on all product functionalities, enabling them to deliver exceptional training and support to clients.
- Regularly update internal teams on new product features and enhancements to maintain a high level of readiness and expertise.
- Training Materials and Strategy:
- Collaborate with document department to assist in the creation of comprehensive manuals and guides for Horizon56 products.
- Design and implement training materials, including supplementary resources and in-product guidance, to accelerate onboarding and scaling for clients.
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to integrate new product updates and features into training resources ahead of release.
- Continuously refine training methodologies to ensure they meet the evolving needs of clients and internal teams.
- Quality Assurance and Innovation:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure training programs are accurate, effective, and aligned with Horizon56’s standards.
- Research and implement innovative training methods to improve user engagement and product adoption.
We expect you come with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate has a background in the O&G industry working with clients, training and implementation. More specifically, we are looking for the following competencies:
- Proven experience in training development, coordination, and delivery, preferably in a software/technology-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee complex training programs.
- Travel is expected for on-site training and events.
- Experience managing or collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment in training objectives and materials.
Working Location
Preferably, the candidate should be based in the Stavanger Norway area, but we are open to considering alternative locations for the right candidate.
