Summer Internship Program 2025 – Project Delivery Unit – Solar Technical Management is Looking for Passionate Students!

About Project Delivery Unit – Solar Technical Management
Our team is responsible for the continuous evolution of how technical aspects of our solar projects are delivered. Our work covers performance, quality, health & safety and sustainability themes across the development and construction phases of projects. We are a centralized hub team collaborating with and supporting our regional technical teams located around the world.
For this internship, you will work with us to evolve how we integrate sustainable design principles into the engineering of our solar farms, in order to meet our corporate sustainability ambitions and targets.

- Gain valuable work experience in solar plant design, sustainability management and cost/benefit analysis

- Visit one of our power plants to see how renewable energy is produced in practice.
Examples of Tasks You Might Work On
Depending on the needs of the department and your interests, you may work on the following relevant to engineering of solar plant:
- Explore sustainable design initiatives via self-research and engaging with others within our global engineering and sustainability teams.
- Explore existing tools for assessing sustainable design alternatives (e.g. BREEAM Infrastructure) and make recommendations for Statkraft’s approach to solar projects.
Tasks will be tailored to ensure you work on areas that excite and engage you the most!
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for students who:
- Are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
- Have strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Are motivated, proactive, and enjoy working in teams.
- Are studying relevant fields, e.g. energy, engineering, sustainability, environment, materials
- Are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.

Practical Information
- Duration: Mid-June to mid-August 2025. The program includes two weeks of vacation (TBD during interview).
- Location: Lilleaker and/or Sluppen.
- Final Presentation: The program concludes with interns presenting their work to management and colleagues (in English).
