Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Manager to join our team for modification projects.

The Commissioning Manager shall together with our strategic partners secure that completion activities are timely planned and performed in accordance with project requirements through the whole project phase from Concept select to handover to Operations.

Main tasks

• Commissioning Manager for Modification projects for Vår Energi's Assets
• Development of Completion and Commissioning strategies
• Responsible for development and follow up of hookup, commissioning and start-up plan, incl. detailed and specific scope and test procedures
• Ensure common understanding of commissioning and Start-up requirements and deliverables for successful project execution
• Overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities, incl. early engagement in construction/MC and handover to Operations
• Responsible for development and implementation of commissioning procedures, boundary drawings and system logic for the execution schedule
• Overseeing that required commissioning organization, schedule and CAPEX cost estimates are in place
• Actively contribute to design- and constructability reviews, HAZID, HAZOP and FAT's
• Monitor and report on commissioning progress, address any issues and secure that mitigation actions are implemented to avoid delays or technical issues
• Handle and understand risk-based project management
• Handle and understand "safety issues/aspects" related to first energizing
• Actively implement, use and promote PIMS as our Completion Management Tool
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process
• Define relevant Information Management requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commissioning Manager, also within an Operators environment
• Relevant experience from both topside and subsea commissioning
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in commissioning
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Experience with Completion systems like PIMS CMS used to ensure completion and diligent handover to Operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Process Engineer or other relevant engineering degree
• Experience from offshore Operations and Operation Readiness and Assurance is highly valued
• Over 10 years relevant experience
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English
