Are you motivated for a technical key role in our Manufacturing Engineering Department?
As a Manufacturing Engineer in Øglænd System you will be actively involved in tasks and projects, working closely with the teams across the globe, your main focus being the plant in Norway. You will support and collaborate with the plants, research and development, projects, sales and supply chain. Our Manufacturing Engineer will have an important role as a ligament between engineering and manufacturing.
The role covers a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, analyzing, designing and implementing improvements to our manufacturing process and equipment.

What will you be doing?
- Design and improve manufacturing equipment and processes to meet project and product criteria, as well as applicable standards and norms.
- Prepare and deliver engineering and/or physical output (e.g. technical drawings, 3D models, prototypes).
- Analyze manufacturing data to improve material flow and processes.
- Participate actively as a ligament between engineering and manufacturing.
- Interact, visit and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and its representatives.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends - building tools to continuously improve performance.
Some of the tasks require domestic and international travelling.
We think you should have:
- MSc / BSc in relevant engineering degree (Vocational school will be considered for the right candidate).
- Practical experience, preferably a trade certificate.
- Experience with product development and have good sense of mechanical behavior of parts and manufacturability of products. Preferably experienced with sheet metal.
- Good communication ability, attention to detail and excellent spoken and written English. Fluent in a Scandinavian language is preferred.
- Good computer skills in Office 365, and with CAD programs (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. M3) and preferably PLC programming (e.g. RAPID, Phyton).
