DeepOcean is looking for a dedicated senior project engineer who will help further develop our traditional services in inspection, maintenance, repair, installation and recycling – while creating cutting-edge solutions for offshore renewable energy and the technology of the future.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Your responsibilities include planning and executing marine operations, organizing mobilizations, and participating in offshore projects as part of the operations team.
• Supervise Acquisition with Subsea 3D Scanning Equipment, performing reconstructions and associated Engineering Analysis.
• Provide necessary technical Documentation during the planning and reporting stage of the job.
• Ensure all scopes are completed in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
• In addition, you will help improve procedures, project documentation, and compliance with HSEQS standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in the relevant engineering or survey discipline
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• 3+ years of experience as an engineer or surveyor
• Experience with several of the following is preferred
• Laser Scanning (Land/Subsea)
• Photogrammetry Hardware (Land/Subsea)
• Survey sensors (Land/Subsea)
• Survey/CAD Software
• Reporting

• Experience with subsea metrologies would be advantageous
