We are seeking a commercially minded Operator / Charterer

As part of our ambitious plans to grow and expand our dry bulk activities, we are seeking a commercially driven and proactive Operator / Charterer to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Optimal Voyage planning and qualitative and cost efficient execution
• Instructing and communicating with the vessels, Charterers, agents etc. and maintaining close contact with customers and keeping them duly informed and updated
• Participate in day-to-day chartering related activities
• Optimize fleet positioning and contribute to long-term planning
• Build and maintain relationships with Charterers, Traders, Owners, and Brokers worldwide

Qualifications, abilities and experience

• Passion and enthusiasm for shipping in general and the Dry Bulk market
• Positive attitude and with a good spirit
• Commercial mindset, analytical, IT skilled and attention to details
• Team player with excellent communication skills and active listening abilities
• Demonstrate reliability, initiative and professionalism
• Dataloy system competence is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
