Area Manager|Össur|Norge
We are looking for an Area Manager bracing & support to Össur Nordic who will work in Norway. Össur Nordic is a sales company within Össur and we operate in the Nordic countries, but we are under the North Europe/Europe business unit. You will report to our Sales Manager Bracing Nordics. The position includes weekly travels mostly in Norway, but also in the other Nordic countries.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for sales and growth of existing and new products in the bracing & support segment and hospital channels in Norway. On a day to day basis, you will develop, build and cultivate relationships with customers, by initiating contact with physicians, clinical staff, and other device users. This, to expand Össur’s customer base and further strengthen the market position and brand recognition. Areas of responsibility will include:
· Executes sales strategies, in line with overall objectives
· Manages customer contact, both face-to-face and virtually
· Analyze sales figures and market data regularly and react accordingly
· Identify and approach high potential customers
· Register customer visit results, future objectives etc. in Salesforce
· Schedules and prioritizes time for effective territory coverage
· Seeks new opportunities in order to grow business
Your profile
We are looking for an ambitious sales profile with a high drive, who is motivated by meeting customers and creating results, which in this position is more important than a deep medical insight. The will and potential to learn is what counts.
· Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience and knowledge in sales methods and techniques
· Good understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
· Fluent language skills in Norwegian and very good skills in English
· It is meritorious if you have skills in any other Scandinavian languages
· It´s also meritorious if you have experience and affinity in the medical field of bracing & support, experience in orthopedic therapeutic device training or selling medical products
