Are you our next Project Purchasing Manager?

Job Description

• Oversee purchasing activities for assigned projects in accordance with project and Purchasing Operating Models.

• Develop procurement strategies, negotiate subcontracts, and manage supplier sourcing and selection processes.

• Lead and mentor a team of Senior Purchasers and Purchasers to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing operations.

• Ensure compliance with General Management Procedures (GMP) and corporate policies, including ethics and competition law.

• Collaborate with internal teams across projects to maintain procurement plans, performance reviews, and KPIs.

• Ensure high-quality execution of contracts and deliveries by closely monitoring supplier performance.

• Handle all invoicing and payment follow-up for suppliers, ensuring adherence to agreements and cost-saving initiatives.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain, with strong negotiation and commercial achievements.

• Expertise in international negotiations, ideally in oil, gas, maritime, construction, or related industries.

• Proficiency in SAP; BI and Ariba knowledge are advantages.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Fluency in English; Norwegian and/or French is a plus.
