Job Description

• Create new documentation and drawings, including Cause & Effect diagrams, System Control Diagrams (SCD), loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas, and safety systems, and IS Loop Calculations.

• Revise existing documentation and drawings as required.

• Develop work packages for installation.

• Produce deliverables for studies and Front-End Loading (FEL) work.

• Create documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).

• Perform discipline checks and approve project-related documents and drawings.

• Order all instrument materials necessary for offshore installation.

• Interpret P&IDs and cross-disciplinary drawings.

• Collaborate with clients and vendor representatives to identify optimal technical solutions.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAS systems in modification projects.

• 7 to 12 years of experience in offshore-related projects.

• Familiarity with standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892, and NORSOK.

• Experience in offshore installation modifications while in operation.

• Knowledge of Studies and Front-End Loading (FEL) processes.

• Experience working with various process and utility systems, including Platform Control Systems, Fire & Gas, and safety systems.

• Strong knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry.

• Understanding of safety systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation.

• Completion of a Basic EX course (minimum 6-8 hours online or 22.5 hours in the classroom).

• FSE High and Low Voltage with First Aid certification.
