Due to increased activity, we are now looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Pre-Production & Planning team in Stavanger. The position is part of a vibrant, energetic and positive working environment, in a multinational company with mobilization of personnel and equipment to operations all over the world.

The main purpose of the position is to improve our operational activities by developing and leveraging practical and effective technology solutions, as well as ensure that digital tools and systems implemented are well integrated, enhancing efficiency across the organization. Focus will be on enhancing performance, streamlining processes, and digital innovation.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Visualize equipment status & service priorities.
• Develop and maintain digital toolbox for improving equipment and fleet overview and  insights
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, components, web applications, web services and services components. 
• Practical Solution Creation through programming minimal viable product and realization.
• Focus on data accuracy, efficiency & visualization to user.
• Initiate and lead digitalization efforts on local site.
• Review and propose improvements of work processes to optimize workflows.
• Participate actively in our Quality Management System by optimizing and maintaining procedures, processes, and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or technology, or other related field
• Minimum 3 years experience with proven record of individual accomplishment, application experience and technical knowledge
• Significant drive for process improvement.
• Excellent architecture and conceptual skills.
• Formal training in continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent ability to work with teams, as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian, oral and in writing.
