Test Technician / Test Engineer

As a Test Technician / Engineer, you will work to ensure the quality of our high-tech hydroacoustic underwater sensors. Key responsibilities as a technician / engineer will be to carry out test and ensure that the products meet necessary quality standards, as well as report and follow up any deviations that are discovered. For this work, we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, structured, and has a high focus on quality.

What you will be doing

• Assembly, test and control of underwater sensors
• Collaboration with the development department in the development process of next-generation sensors
• Contribute to continuous improvement
• Communication about findings, deviations and opportunities for improvement with the team leader, product owners and other Kongsberg employees
  
  

We think you should have

• Technical vocational school or relevant certificate (production electronics, IT, electronics or similar) Relevant work experience or personal qualities can compensate for a lack of formal competence
• Experience from production, testing or quality control
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
