If you agree on the headline, we are already off to a good start! We are seeking an experienced and innovative Learning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Learning & Development team.
This role will be pivotal in driving our global learning initiatives and supporting the local initiatives, to ensure that our workforce is equipped with the skills needed to excel in a rapidly evolving world and industry. You will be responsible for the planning of the strategic, global learning initiatives, how we build, roll out and how we evaluate them, together with the team. This role will be reporting to Head of Learning & Development.
Key Responsibilities together with the team
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement learning and competence development initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives using our ecosystem for learning.
Competence Development: In team with colleagues and stakeholders, identify key competencies required for various areas and roles in the organization and develop targeted programs to close skill gaps.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to understand learning needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Project lead and project member: Work on strategically important projects to drive the organisation forward. In some projects as a leader, and some as a member of the project team.
Evaluation: Together with the team, develop ways to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and projects.
Methodology and Content Development: Together with the team, develop the methodology and best practise for learning design, by staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development. This role will, in cooperation with others create high-quality, engaging learning content and programs, leveraging the latest in learning technologies.
Technology & Ecosystem: Ensure that we use, evaluate and integrate learning technologies (e.g., LMS, AI-driven learning tools) to enhance the learning experience and outcomes together with the team, stakeholders and partners.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to other members of the Global L&D team.
The candidate has a good understanding of pedagogics, learning technologies, and competence development strategies. You should also have proven records of deliveries within learning & development in complex and fast paced organisations, as well as good insight into recent research and what works in other organisations.

We believe you have the following qualifications and skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a similar SME role.
In-depth knowledge of learning and instructional design principles.
Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), other learning technologies and how people and technology can best act together to drive learning.
Strong analytical skills, experience with data-driven decision-making and agile ways of working.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international organisation where you need to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting stakeholder needs.
Proven experience in leading different types of projects with success.
BSc/MSc in Learning Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Norwegian speaking will be considered meriting for this role.
