Are you ready to shape the future with us? Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer – Control Systems to join their automation team in Bergen. Your Role:

As a Project Engineer – Control Systems, you’ll lead the way in technical project activities, taking responsibility for system design, configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning of advanced control systems.

With an increasing portfolio of projects, particularly in the Norwegian energy sector (both onshore and offshore), you will be pivotal in delivering innovative solutions and upgrading control systems.

You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies like 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+, and Melody, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Act as the technical lead for project design, testing, and implementation (onshore and offshore).

•    Ensure all project activities adhere to contractual, quality, and safety standards.

•    Guide and motivate project teams toward successful outcomes.

•    Some travel is expected as part of this role.

 

Your Background:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Cybernetics, IT, Process Control, or a related field.

•    A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Norwegian energy sector.

•    Expertise in control systems with a solid technical and commercial mindset.

•    Strong communication skills in English (proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage).

Som Principal Project Engineer – Control Systems vil du ha en nøkkelrolle i tekniske prosjektaktiviteter. Du vil ha ansvar for systemdesign, konfigurasjon, programmering, testing og igangkjøring av avanserte kontrollsystemer.

Med et økende prosjektvolum, spesielt innenfor energiindustrien i Norge (både onshore og offshore), vil du bidra til å levere innovative løsninger og oppgraderinger av kontrollsystemer.

Du vil jobbe med avanserte teknologier som 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+ og Melody, og sikre pålitelighet og effektivitet.

 

Ansvarsområder:

•    Være teknisk ansvarlig for prosjektering, testing og implementering (onshore og offshore).

•    Sikre at prosjektaktiviteter oppfyller kontraktskrav, kvalitetsstandarder og sikkerhetskrav.

•    Lede og motivere prosjektteam til å oppnå suksess.

•    Noe reising må påregnes.

 

Din bakgrunn:

•    Bachelor- eller mastergrad innen automasjon, kybernetikk, IT, prosesstyring eller tilsvarende.

•    Minimum 10 års erfaring fra den norske energiindustrien.

•    Ekspertise innen kontrollsystemer og en sterk teknisk og kommersiell forståelse.

•    Gode kommunikasjonsevner på engelsk (kunnskaper i norsk er en fordel).
