This position will be based in Bergen, district Vestland and Rogaland, in Norway under the Cardiometabolic Sales Unit. You will report directly to the Field Sales Manager. The position is home-based but will be working closely with the Field Sales Manager for Cardiometabolic Sales and need to attend the office during the first month of starting.

The Position
As a Key Account Manager Specialist care, your responsibility will be to deliver on sales targets & marketing objectives, develop & manage long term relationships with the clients. Moreover, your responsibility will be to represent Novo Nordisk Way, values, commitments in the daily conduct with the internal and external stakeholders.
Your main accountabilities will be to:
- Achieve territory sales targets and execute territory plans
- Position Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner to high potential specialists that treats or influences the treatment, guidelines, protocols and treatment of patients with cardiometabolic diseases in secondary care
- Engage in on-going interactions with specialists, nurses, hospital pharmacies, clinical managers and other relevant stakeholders at hospital level, in private health care institutions and specialist practices in specialist care
- Innovate the way we engage with multi-channel customer initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement territory activities in collaboration with Key Account Manager Primary care and Medical Advisor
- Analyse territory and execute marketing strategies
- Participate in regional meetings, national conferences, and cross-functional collaborations
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and CMR teams to develop and execute key account plans using market intelligence
Qualifications
As a Key Account Manager Specialist care, you need to have a minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an excellent track record of sales results and relationship building.
In addition, you need to have minimum 3 years of higher education (e.g. bachelor’s degree in nursing).
Moreover, you need to have knowledge of Diabetes, Obesity or cardiovascular therapies.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Proven ability to create and develop client relationships and achieve new business sales success
- Exceptional commercial acumen and ability to manage customer relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to communicate scientific information effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Valid driving license
