Jotun is seeking a new Group Learning and Development Advisor!
As one of our colleagues is going on parental leave this spring, we are looking for someone to join our Group Learning and Development (Group L&D) team at Jotun. In Group L&D our key focus and passion is to enhance the skills and knowledge of our Jotun colleagues across the globe.
As a Group Learning and Development Advisor, you will be part of a collaborative team, working together to ensure high standards in competence activities worldwide. We support a variety of exciting initiatives, including our internal Jotun Academy programs and innovative digital learning solutions. Our responsibility is to share best practices and support Jotun's strategy through a wide range of training programs, digital learning tools, and workshops designed to develop competence and mobilize learning within the organization.
This position will be a temporary employment in the period from 1st of May 2025 to 31st of December 2025, with possibility for extension, and have office location at our headquarter in Sandefjord, Norway.
Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities in this position will be to:
Create digital training courses using innovative digital solutions to answer needs from any department in Jotun
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from all departments to understand their needs and build course structures
- Use our tools and solutions to create engaging courses, e.g.: videos, digital e-learnings, build VR trainings, organize SharePoint sites
Come up with and deliver workshops to help teams perform better
- Assess organizational needs to come up with new workshops for teams, e.g.: adaptive leadership, active listening, conflict management,
- Deliver existing workshops to teams who need it for example related to communication styles, culture, feedback techniques
Support the development of VR use in Jotun
- Create new VR trainings based on organization needs and with support from L&D colleagues
- Support with creation of a VR templates
Contribute to miscellaneous and ad-hoc tasks in the department
What We Look for
Formal requirements
We are looking for candidates who have a digital mindset and enjoy social interaction with colleagues, that communicates well and are comfortable with doing presentations. In addition, we believe a good candidate for the position possess some of the following formal requirements:
- BSc. or higher within a relevant field
- A few years of experience with relevant tasks or in relevant positions could be an advantage
- Experience and interest in working with new technologies and content creation
- Good communication- and presentation skills
- Good English skills both written and spoken
