We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our team in Group Accounting and Reporting. The department is responsible for preparing Hydro's quarterly and annual external financial and sustainability reporting, defining accounting and ESG reporting policies, and developing the Internal Control framework in Hydro.

You will work on

As part of the team, you will:

• stay continuously updated on developments within IFRS, and contribute to the implementation of new accounting rules in the Hydro Group.
• participate in preparing annual financial statements and quarterly reports.
• drive processes and secure resolutions related to accounting issues.
• act as a point of contact and perform consolidation in cooperation with finance teams.
• participate in continuous process improvements.
• participate in relevant corporate and/or business area projects.

Your qualifications and skills

• Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 3-5 years' experience with consolidation and accounting related issues is required, preferably in a medium/large sized corporation
• Strong IFRS competence
• Effective English skills, both verbal and written, is a requirement.
