As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Mechanical Package Responsible Engineer (Rotating Equipment) with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

The project is led from Bergen.

We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) in EPC.
• Conducting technology evaluations, specifications and bid evaluation.
• Purchase order placement.
• Supplier coordination and follow-up.
• Coordination of internal disciplines; interaction with procurement and client.
• Testing and mechanical completion activities.

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Substantial relevant experience within the field of rotating equipment.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience from the oil and gas industry.
• Extensive experience as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for large gas compressors is an advantage.
• Proactive approach.
• Skills in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
