LCI Coordinator
What does the job involve?
The position will primarily consist of tasks related to LCI coordination, selected responsibilities within document control, and SAP M5 improvement work. Additionally, it will involve maintaining and updating technical requirements related to numbering systems and other LCI-related responsibilities at PTRT (Pipeline Tie-in and Repair Technology).
You will be part of multi-located technical department for Onshore plants in Equinor in the Life Cycle Information (LCI) department. LCI is located at Kårstø, Hammerfest, Tjeldbergodden, Mongstad, Øygarden by Kollsnes and Sture. LCI consists of 30 employees. The main office for this position will be at LCI at Kårstø, and at Killingøy as needed.
This role is intended to provide LCI support to the PTRT unit at Equinor, located at the Haugesund Subsea and Offshore Base at Killingøy. It is also aimed at strengthening LCI at Equinor’s K-LAB Technology Center at Equinor Kårstø.
About the PTRT Unit:
PTRT is responsible for delivering technology and resources for subsea tie-ins and pipeline repairs. This includes technology, equipment, and offshore operations utilizing hyperbaric welding, mechanical connection systems, hot tapping, and the establishment of high-pressure barriers in pipelines. The unit manages the operation of the Pipeline Repair and Subsea Intervention (PRSI) Pool, which is the world's largest emergency preparedness and repair pool for offshore pipelines and high-voltage cables. This international collaboration currently consists of 24 operator companies. PTRT has approximately 20 employees who work closely with the PRSI Pool base supplier (around 90 people) at Killingøy, Haugesund.
About the K-LAB Unit:
K-LAB is owned by Equinor and serves as an industrial test center for new technology, located at Kårstø. It carries out assignments for both internal customers and various industry suppliers. At K-LAB, research projects are conducted from ideation and testing to the implementation of new technologies.
Test Facilities and Services (TFS) is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of laboratories and test facilities, based on business-prioritized needs in technology, digitalization, and innovation.

What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Have a versatile role in LCI, including document control, LCI coordination, and M5 coordination.
- Be part of LCI task teams in LCI coordination, document control, and M5 coordination.
- Serve as a support function and coordinate technical disciplines, provide guidance, and contribute to training within LCI requirements, methods, and tools.
- Ensure that LCI requirements align with relevant work processes in Equinor.
- Contribute to the delivery of technical information in accordance with LCI milestones in projects within our systems.
- Perform quality assurance and follow-up on internal and external LCI deliveries in projects.
- Coordinate parts of the M5 portfolio, assign tasks to various disciplines, and follow up until M5 completion.

- Technical education and work experience, such as a bachelor's degree, technical college, IT background, or a trade certification.
- Experience with LCI as an LCI coordinator, with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Experience in handling, controlling, and monitoring documentation processes, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures in a coordination role.
- Experience working systematically in teams and independently, as well as in operations, maintenance, and/or projects onshore/offshore.
- Familiarity with IT tools such as STID, SAP, PIMS, DC, and Procosys.
- Strong IT skills, an interest in technology, and openness to new digital solutions.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
- Relevant work experience may compensate for formal qualification requirements.
