Our Pathway Program is designed to help you build a strong foundation as an Electrical Engineer. This program is designed to give you hands-on experience and a broad perspective on what we do in NOV within electrical engineering. Through rotations, you will get to explore different engineering aspects, giving you a chance to learn and grow.

Our Electrical Engineering department in Kristiansand are working together with other electrical engineering groups in Norway and globally. Our teams provide high-quality electrical design and technical documentation for various equipment in new and existing markets. We pride ourselves on delivering quality, all while maintaining a positive and engaging workplace culture.

You will work with:

• Perform electrical design (electrical one-line diagrams/block diagrams, wiring / interconnect diagrams, loop diagrams, I/O Lists, fabrication and assembly drawings) according to NOV guidelines.
• Contribute to further development of existing products
• Participate in the preparation of general electro project documentation.
• Solve problems of varying engineering complexity, product development.
• Be involved in testing and hands on training in a workshop.

Is this you?

We are looking for someone who is curious, pro-active and eager to learn. You also have good communications in English and Norwegian, and demonstrated collaborative skills. In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electro, mechatronic, renewable energy, automation, electronic or similar fields with graduation expected in 2025.
• Hands-on experience, whether it is from a trade certificate or personal projects, is a bonus.
