HSSE Advisor in the renewable energy - Scatec

Currently we are looking for an HSSE Advisor in Oslo, Norway to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our HSSE Advisor you will drive and follow through on processes to support the HSSE governance team’s overall mandate:
Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the HSSE management system for the entire value chain. You will support and advise the organization in ensuring compliance to the internal HSSE framework, local regulations and best practices. You will build and drive a positive company HSSE culture with the goal of zero harm.
Main responsibilities
- Assist the delivery of projects in establishing the project specific HSSE plan and requirements towards contractors
- Review and recommend HSSE plans from contractors and critical suppliers
- Coordinate HSSE activities with the project construction sites crew and the operational O&M plant teams
- Aligning site and plant HSSE program to comply with the global HSSE management system
- Govern and maintain the overall HSSE management system of Scatec
- Report on HSSE progress and KPI’s, using digital solutions and platforms
- Maintain the HSSE assurance program (audits and inspections)
- Drive the HSSE communication program
- Maintain HSSE training program
- Drive and communicate HSSE performance reporting and analysis
- Enthusiastically drive and improve the HSSE and quality culture of Scatec
Qualifications and competencies
- University Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
- 7 years’ experience in an HSSE position with an EPC company.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- You are used to changing environments and to quickly meet new challenges
