Senior Technician

We are recruiting for a Senior Service Technician to join our team in Sandnes, Expro Norway. As a Senior Technician you will primarily be responsible for the servicing of drilling and cementing tools (dismantling, assembling, testing, and preparing) while making sure that all maintenance work is done in a safe and HSE compliant manner. The  Senior Technician is responsible and accountable for the following:

• Complies with all company and customer Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Reports incidents, near-misses, and non-productive time.
• Accurately measures, checks, and inspects tools.
• Completes tool Assembly and Disassembly across product lines.
• Conduct cleaning, inspection, and safely strap down tools into CCU’s ready for loadout.
• Completes all required pre-job paperwork and loadout lists, assist in the allocation and tool selection for upcoming loadouts.
• Assist and actively identifies low stock items and provide input for reorder process.
• Completes Expro pre and Post job procedure paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring it is submitted in a timely manner. 
• Proactively liaises with Third party inspection reps for pre job tool loadout inspections.
• Actively promotes ‘Stop Work Authority’ process.
• Mentors Apprentices and new Technicians and supports them in the development of their competence.
• Attend Team meetings and assign tasks to team members in ways which ensure clear understanding.

• Hands-on mechanical experience/aptitude

• Flexible and adaptable
