We are seeking a driven Group Financial Controller, motivated to join the corporate-level finance team at Sector Alarm. With an eye for details, a strong understanding of financial regulations, and a proactive approach to improving processes and systems, you will play an important role in Sector Alarm’s international growth journey.

Anaplan - a leading enterprise cloud software, contributes to our endeavors with a robust modeling engine and a user interface supporting collaborative processes. The platform provides business intelligence for decision-making purposes, is highly scalable, accurate, and traceable making it the ideal platform for Sector Alarm’s financial consolidation, incentive compensation management, performance reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

We are searching for someone who has the grit and passion to continue unlocking the potential of this platform, ensuring that it continues to support our processes as the Group expands. 

Job responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation of both internal and external reporting including the Group’s consolidated financial pack and ESG reporting, ensuring quality and accuracy (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Advice subsidiaries and contribute to ensuring the Group’s compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Prepare parent company accounts, including statutory financial reporting, tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements
• Contribute to ad hoc projects, financial analysis and reviews, transactions and accounting related matters
• Key contributor in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Anaplan to support financial consolidation, incentive compensation management, performance reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• Stay up to date with the Anaplan features and enhancements, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them to improve processes
• Document technical specifications of Anaplan models, system configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audit and Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience from auditing or similar role
• Strong knowledge and experience with IFRS, NGAAP, general tax principles and transfer pricing
• Strong knowledge and experience with technical consolidation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of and interest in business intelligence and automation tools
• Knowledge of Anaplan is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Strong level of English and Norwegian
