Maintenance Manager - Risavika LNG Plant
We are now recruiting a Maintenance Manager to join the team at our Risavika LNG Plant.
It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager to work with all members of the maintenance, engineering and operations teams to execute the necessary maintenance and engineering activities ensuring that asset integrity and reliability is maintained in a manner consistent with delivering customer requirements and legislative compliance.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Deliver maintenance activities and improvements consistent with meeting operational requirements and delivering against the agreed contract and KPI’s.
- Manage and deliver planned and unplanned maintenance and shutdown programmes.
- Ensure all preventative maintenance routines are adequate and appropriate for the risks being managed.
- Utilising the site control systems, monitor machinery performance to identify potentially failing equipment or plant issues as they develop. Apply appropriate knowledge and experience enabling timely rectification of engineering and maintenance issues affecting safety, availability, reliability and production. Review plant maintenance performance identifying improvement areas to be implemented short and long term.
- Ensure maintenance activities remain compliant with business, safety and legislative and regulatory requirements. Support, develop and implement appropriate maintenance procedures to ensure systems are complaint and maintained as such.
- Deliver improved plant reliability / availability through adopting structured reliability improvement processes and support of improvement / upgrade projects at the Risavika LNG plant
- Be active in plant safety schemes providing support, reporting and implementing actions. To include, Hazard observations/near misses/incidents, investigations, audits, root cause analysis, housekeeping and supervision to px safe working systems standards.
- Provide technical support to other disciplines including assisting plant operations with day-to-day activities.
- Support and deliver projects consistent with px project management procedures, ensuring changes are raised and approved via the px ‘Management of Change’ process.
- Develop, implement and champion maintenance procedures, instructions, standards, guidance documents. Update and maintain the plants CMMS in accordance with applicable Company maintenance procedures and legislative requirements.
- Ensure technical and maintenance documentation is accurately and consistently sourced, stored, updated and communicated.
- Manage maintenance and specialist service contracts, including the requirements of the Long-Term Service Agreement contracts, ensuring they meet contract goals and remain within agreed budgetary requirements.
- Portray the role of Maintenance Manager in a positive and professional manner. Remain up to date with maintenance best practice, industry trends and legislation.
- As part of the site management team and incident control plan, be part of the “Duty Manager / Call Out” rota.
- Complete the required training to obtain certification needed for the role as Port facility Security officer, Industrial safety course and Industrial safety on scene commander course.
- Representing the business & client as required locally, to the industry and regulators including cross site forums
- The assessment, review and feedback to supply chain organisations
- Conducting investigations and RCA as required
- Deputise as Plant Manager, and if necessary, deputise for other management roles.
About you:
- You will have achieved a minimum of BSc in Engineering Discipline
- You will have at least 5 years experience within maintenance engineering, maintenance management or a similar role gained from onshore processing plants /DBS regulated sites.
- Previous experience maintaining and using CMMS's
- Experience working cross multi-disciplinary, delivering policies, initiatives and compliance with company and legislative requirements.
- Experience with managing contracts, budgets and projects.
- Able to demonstrate experience and understanding of maintenance tactics and philosophy, mechanical methods, materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of Norwegian industry initiatives and best practices, for example NORSOK.
- Knowledge and application of SHE systems and processes including near misses, audits, housekeeping, Life saving rules etc.
- Have an understanding of Mechanical legislative systems and standards.
- Knowledge of key Norwegian legislation: major accident regulations, handling of dangerous substances regulations, etc
- Experience with Outage management.
- Experience with Operations interface, policies & procedure.
- Knowledge of best practice standards & insurance compliance.
- Experience with Developing, implementing & evaluating systems, upgrades, improvements, projects & mods through MOC.
- Experience building & maintaining customer & contractor relationships.
