Kongsberg Discovery AS is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an engaged Purchaser who can help us manage the increased workload and realize our growing order intake.

Together with colleagues in the Procurement Department, you will secure the best deals with our suppliers worldwide. Join our team and contribute to our success!

Responsibilities

• Purchasing for production and development projects
• Responsible for the order process and invoice handling
• Contact with internal customers
• Contact person for selected suppliers and ensuring effective communication with them
• Ongoing follow-up and evaluation of existing and new suppliers
• Operational purchasing with securing deliveries in terms of quality, delivery precision, costs, and export control
• Updating and maintaining master data in ERP
• Assisting in negotiation processes and evaluation of offers

Desired qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Technical, and/or Economic subjects. Relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and negotiations is required for this position
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
• Good commercial and economic/technical understanding
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
