YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT
We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Europe. We are strengthening our international team and have recently open several positions to work within our EIFFAGE Infrastructure branch EIFFAGE Norge, based in Porsgrunn, Norway.
Eiffage Norge is the main contractor for the E18 Langangen-Rugtvedt highway. The project is a 4-lane 18km long highway including 3 bridges and 2 mains twin's tunnels (Bjonnas Tunnel 2.5km and Grenland Tunnel 5.1km). It started in January 2021 and will run until end 2025.
You will join a dynamic team in Norway with a potential of long-term assignment in Scandinavia.
Eiffage Norge is looking for an ambitious and structured person who will contribute to good quality in the company's financial department. You must have experience from cost control and good communication and collaboration skills. If you want to expand and contribute your knowledge alongside skilled and committed employees in this exciting project, this may be the job for you!
YOUR MAIN TASKS
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of works activities onsite.
Support the Site Teams with the onsite implementation of the Health and Safety Plan and associated Management System requirements.
Monitor, update and ensure compliance with Startbank, HMS reg and Effera.
Carries out risk assessments to identify potential hazards on site and determines ways of reducing risks.
Promotes the use of Safety Force tool on the project.
Seek to find trends in onsite OHS data sources and report them to Site Management.
Schedule and carry out weekly inspections of the workplace with Site Management and Subcontractors (if applicable) to ensure application of measures identified in risk assessments.
Undertake necessary routine checks, inspections and audits to identify potential risks and good practices and report back the results to Site Management.
Assist / support the Site Team in the investigation of accident/incident (with or without personal injury) and dangerous occurrences.
Provides safety inductions for employees, sub-contractors and visitors.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Good communication skills - English
Extensive experience in Health and safety in construction or industry
