Currently we have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Application Consultant in Stavanger, Norway.

We are in the process of implementing IFS Cloud as our new global ERP system. To support the implementation and governance we are seeking a skilled Application Consultant to join our global IT team.

About the role

 As an Application Consultant, you will be an important part of our ERP Application Management team, focusing on implementing new features and processes on our IFS Cloud platform. Your responsibilities will include the implementation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the IFS Cloud platform. Equally important is ensuring a seamless integration of the platform with Laerdal's complete application portfolio.

We seek candidates with a strong technical background who are also interested in understanding and optimizing business processes. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and a curiosity about applying new technologies to enhance business operations.

In the role as Application Consultant you will interact with other application management teams in a global, distributed organization. Our ERP system is integrated with other business systems such as CRM , Master data management , Business analytics tools and digital solutions facing our customers. An important part of the role is also to interact with business to gather and understand new requirements and changes to our business processes. You will be involved in implementing and optimizing processes across the company, in the areas Sales and Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing. The role will be an important support to the business and helping it succeed towards our goal of helping save one million more lives.

Experience with IFS Cloud is a plus, but we also encourage candidates with experience from other ERP systems to apply.

Some of what you will be doing

 Work closely with global process owners to find solutions that meet their requirements and design solutions to implement these requirements across Laerdal's application portfolio.

Configure IFS Cloud to implement new requirements and business processes.

Release management on the IFS Cloud platform. Making sure releases are tested, documented and safely deployed.

Ensure that our IFS cloud platform is operating efficiently and securely, and in compliance with our regulations.

Application support, making sure that troubleshooting and feedback to users are done in a timely manner.

Stay up to date on IFS roadmap and new features, including IFS service updates and releases updates.

Who we envision would fit the role

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related subject or relevant work experience
• Experience IFS Cloud is a plus, but candidates with experience from other ERP systems are welcome to apply.
• Good technical expertise combined with a business understanding
• Good written and verbal communication in English. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with both technical and non- technical personnel.
• Problem solving, analytical and open mind person.
